I am interested in formal semantics and morphosyntax through a fieldwork lens. I have focused primarily on evidentiality, discourse particles, and pronominal/clausal marking, but am interested more generally in questions surrounding common ground management and epistemicity. My work has primarily been on Imbabura Kichwa (Quechua II), and more recently on Egyptian Arabic (Afro-Asiatic) and Sereer (Niger-Congo).
- Marking epistemic authority using discourse operators in Imbabura Kichwa
- The syntax of clausal and pronominal marking in Sereer
- Definiteness and plurality
- Discourse markers aslan and hatta in Egyptian Arabic
